As with any maintenance product, we advise always testing the product first on a small, inconspicuous area and following the maintenance instructions of the brand concerned.

Louis Vuitton monogram canvas and damier canvas do not require leather conditioner. These materials have a protective coating and therefore do not need to be nourished like smooth leather. Clean the canvas with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth and then gently dry it.

However, please note that Vachetta leather details such as handles, straps, and trimmings on many Louis Vuitton bags may require maintenance. Use a suitable leather conditioner, such as Cadillac Boot & Shoe Leather Lotion, for this purpose. Always test it first on an inconspicuous area, as Vachetta develops a natural patina over time and may darken slightly with conditioning.
