Web store software

Our web store is developed using Shopify software. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Webhosting MijnDomein

We use web hosting and email services from MijnDomein. MijnDomein processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. MijnDomein has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. MijnDomein is bound by confidentiality due to the agreement.

Email and mailing lists Mailerlite

Our website uses Mailerlite, a third party that handles email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Mailerlite's servers. Mailerlite will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email automatically sent via our website, you will see an 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can severely reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is securely stored by Mailerlite. Payment processors Pay.nl

For processing (part of) the payments in our web store, we use the Payment Service Provider Pay.nl. Pay.nl processes your name, address, and residence data, and your payment data such as your bank account or credit card number. Pay.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Pay.nl reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the event of an application for deferred payment (credit facility), Pay.nl shares personal data and order data with deferred payment service providers. All the aforementioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Pay.nl's services for which it engages third parties. We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are obliged to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide clarification on your review. Shipping and logistics PostNL & DHL

If you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL and/or DHL for deliveries. For this, it is necessary that we share your name, address, and residence data with PostNL and/or DHL. PostNL and/or DHL only use this data for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that PostNL and/or DHL engages subcontractors, PostNL and/or DHL will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting Snelstart

For keeping our administration and accounting, we use the services of Snelstart. We share your name, address, and residence details, and details relating to your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is securely transmitted and stored. Snelstart is bound by confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Snelstart does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

External sales channels

We sell (a part of) our items via the platforms of Marktplaats.nl, 2dehands.be, Vestiaire Collective, Ebay, Joli Closet and Vinted. If you place an order via one of these platforms, this platform will share your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.

Purpose of data processing

We use your data exclusively for our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you later – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your permission for this. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us, or by an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations

In some cases, Purse Curse may be obliged by law to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will object to this within the limits of the law.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request for erasure. This also means that we will not retain your data for longer than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for the duration of the applicable period. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced based on your assignment.

Based on applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to the email address already known to us. In the event that you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep an administration of handled requests; in the case of a request for erasure, we administrate anonymized data. All copies of data will be provided to you in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
