This beautiful vintage Chanel Double Flap Half Moon in black quilted lambskin is a timeless classic and a stylish addition to any wardrobe. The bag dates from the period 1986–1988 and is in good vintage condition. As expected with an authentic vintage Chanel, there are light signs of use, evenly distributed and consistent with the age of the bag, with no noticeable damage. There is light wear to the corners and gentle signs of use throughout. The 24k gold-plated hardware shows minor wear, which enhances the character and charm of a true vintage Chanel, while still retaining its beautiful deep golden tone. To preserve its appearance, the bag has been lightly refreshed by a professional bag spa, where it was treated with care and respect for the original leather.
The chain has a length of approximately 89 cm, allowing the bag to be worn in various ways: elegantly as a shoulder bag, stylishly as a clutch by tucking the chain inside, or as a high crossbody on a petite frame. The bag opens with the iconic turn-lock closure and features a main compartment with a zip pocket that functions smoothly. In addition, the bag offers an extra interior compartment. The interior is finished in fabric, and the serial number is present inside the bag.
There is a light storage scent present, which is not uncommon for vintage items and does not detract from the quality or appearance of the bag. You can also collect your designer item from our showroom in Venlo, the Netherlands. Showroom pickup is available by appointment only, Monday through Saturday between 1:30 PM and 5:15 PM.
