Pre-owned Chanel matelassé single flap
This rare Chanel Single Flap bag is one of the first models featuring the iconic CC turn-lock, a design introduced by Karl Lagerfeld after he joined Chanel as creative director in 1983. The CC logo has since become an unmistakable symbol of Chanel. This bag dates from 1983–1985, before Chanel started using serial numbers in their bags. It is crafted from dark blue lambskin leather, which appears almost black, and the hardware is plated with 24-karat gold. The hardware remains fully gold and is in very good condition. The leather feels soft and is in excellent shape. There are light signs of wear, mainly on the corners and edges, which is to be expected for a bag of this age and only enhances its vintage character. The interior of the bag is clean. You can also collect your designer item from our showroom in Venlo, the Netherlands. Showroom pickup is available by appointment only, Monday through Saturday between 1:30 PM and 5:15 PM.
