Louis Vuitton Takashi Murakami Cherry wallet - pre-owned
This Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Cherry wallet is a rare vintage piece from the original 2005 collection. The iconic design, born from the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, is known for its playful cherry print on the classic monogram. In 2025, this collection was re-released, but this piece belongs to the very first series, making it a true collector’s item for vintage designer enthusiasts.
The wallet is practically organized with a zippered compartment divided into two sections, ideal for storing coins. The zipper still works well, although the gold hardware is discolored and shows signs of use. The second section closes with a snap button and provides space for multiple cards and banknotes. The snap closure no longer functions because part of the button is broken, but it can be easily replaced if the new owner wishes.
As with many beloved vintage pieces, signs of use are visible. The monogram is partially worn, particularly on the cherries, which adds to the wallet’s typical vintage charm. There are also signs of wear on the corners, and some stitching is missing in a few areas.
