Pre-owned Chanel 2.55 Reissue 227 bag
This is the large 2.55 bag, also known as the Reissue 227. In terms of size, this model is comparable to the Classic Flap Jumbo. The 2.55 is a legendary bag, designed by Gabrielle Chanel and released in February 1955, which explains the name 2.55. At the time, this bag was revolutionary as it was the first shoulder bag for women. Previously, women always carried their handbags by hand, which Gabrielle Chanel found impractical. She wanted a bag that could be worn easily without having to be held constantly. In 2005, Karl Lagerfeld reintroduced this bag, hence the name Reissue.
This bag is in very good condition. It is a pre-owned item, so there are some signs of use, but they are minimal. The bag is made of grey suede and has been well maintained. There are light signs of wear visible throughout the bag and on the corners. The interior is also in good condition. However, the bag does have a storage scent. Please examine the photos carefully to get an accurate impression of the bag’s condition. It comes with an Entrupy authenticity certificate, serial number, Purse Curse dustbag, and Purse Curse bag hook.

You can also collect your designer item from our showroom in Venlo, the Netherlands. Showroom pickup is available by appointment only, Monday through Saturday between 1:30 PM and 5:15 PM.
